Ross in action in Boston.
West Norfolk Rugby Club under-15s player Ross Penn-Symonds has just finished a busy season. As well as representing West Norfolk RUFC and Norfolk RFU, he was selected to represent Leicester Tigers in matches against Gloucester and Worcester Warriors, following an arduous assessment process.
He was then selected to play for Leicester Tigers in the North and Midlands Academy 12-a-side tournament on bank holiday Monday in Newark, where Leeds, Newcastle Falcons, Northampton Saints, Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors also took part in the under-15s
competition.
A short rest now awaits Ross before he starts summer training at West Norfolk RUFC in June. He has also been invited to attend a Leicester Tigers Residential Development Camp for a week in August at Bishop Burton College near Beverley in East Yorkshire.
Ross will then look forward to kicking off the new under-16s season in the autumn with his teammates and coaches, Rowland Smith and Richard Thorn, at West Norfolk Rugby Club.
