West Norfolk 24 Broadland 7
A HAT-TRICK from C. Edwards catapulted West to victory, as they showed their quality against the powerful pack of Broadland.
Edwards, at centre, made a trademark breakthrough to scorch in at the corner.
Evans narrowly missed the conversion as West took an early lead.

The hosts continued to apply pressure and were rewarded when a powerful hand-off from Marchant on the charge helped release the backs again, with C Edwards going over for his second. Evans converted this time.
Broadland hit back with a set of attacking rucks in the West 22.
One of these resulted in a try for the visitors. Their fly-half converted to bring the gap back to 12-7.
The scores remained the same as the referee signalled for the interval.
West brought on fresh legs in the second half in the form of the talented Denton in the front row, replacing Savage.
A neat chip and chase by Fysh was soon followed by a sublime move, where a quick line-out ball set up Biggs, who sliced through beautifully to score West’s third.
With the West pack on the front foot and Bridges making a series of powerful surges through the centre, it was not much longer before West were able to strike again. Supported by the likes of Greenwood and McNaught, Edwards split through the Broadland defensive line to complete his hat-trick.
Denton expertly converted from a difficult angle to extend the hosts lead.
Although they are very much a young squad with areas to work on at training, there were some periods that illustrated great maturity from West.
In particular, their discipline and defence around the breakdowns has improved immensely over recent weeks.
n Tomorrow, West travel to Woodbridge.
