THE Stars showed their team changes should result in a stronger side after the second of two battling away displays in two days earned an away point on Friday.
In Heat 15, a second spot for number one rider and top scorer Niels Kristian Iversen earned a point for Lynn during a home 4-2.
The visitors had levelled twice, in Heat 8 with a 5-1 maximum victory from Kevin Wolbert – who has now switched into a reserve berth – and Daniel Nermark (24-24); and in Heat 11 with a 5-1 from Nermark and Iversen (33-33).
Wolbert has switched with doubling-up riders Jordan Frampton and David Howe.
Lynn actually went 37-35 ahead in Heat 12 thanks to a heat win from captain Mads Korneliussen.
However a Heat 13 maximum from the Bees spearhead Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris and fellow Great Britain rider Scott Nicholls put Coventry back in front, and they closed out the meeting for the win.
Dakota North scored paid 2 as he and Frampton have now made their Stars Elite League debuts.

LYNN skipper Mads Korneliussen bagged a 15-point maximum at former club Swindon on Thursday.

THE Young Stars will have a 15-point deficit to make up in the home leg in less than a fortnight’s time after their first meeting of the season on Sunday.
Team boss Dale Allitt praised the contribution of reserve rider Tom Stokes, and said of his side’s task in overhauling the deficit: “It’s not insurmountable.
“It will be difficult for us in the second leg, but the King’s Lynn track is completely different to Mildenhall’s.”
The team missed leading rider Jake Knight, who is due to make the cup second leg after suffering an ankle injury in the abandoned British under 21 semi-final on Saturday.
After Heat 7, Lynn were 28-14 behind.
They harboured hopes of a comeback, with a 5-1 and 8-1 (owing to a double-scoring tactical ride) in successive Heats 11 and 12 from Cockle/Johnson and Kerr/Stokes respectively, but the hosts pulled away again in the final outings.
