Sport - Hockey: Pelicans fun packed Feb

PELICANS Hockey Club President’s Dinner is being hosted at its base at Lynnsport next Friday, February 17, at 7pm.
This year they have managed to secure Frank Dick OBE, who is one of the UK’s most sought-after motivational speakers. Frank has inspired world-beating performances from some of the top names such as Boris Becker, Denise Lewis and Justin Rose.
Pelicans urge everybody to make the effort to come along for a four-course meal and a perfect chance to meet old and new friends.
There will also be an auction of England and GB hockey items, along with some other special sporting memorabilia. Dress code will be lounge suits and tickets cost £35 per person. For tickets and more information apply to mark@italsed.com or call Neville Carter on 01553 671615.
The following day Pelicans holds its first-ever prom night for all aged between 14 and 18. Non-Pelicans teens are also welcome. Tickets are £10 and the dress code is black tie.
There will be a live performance from award-winning band Jessie’s Ghost, plus a disco and food for all.
