LYNN Stars boss Buster Chapman and his son Jonathan have stepped in to help struggling Mildenhall, it was announced on Wednesday.
Buster Chapman said: "We are buying the assets of the club and the Mildenhall licence, and we will be running the club to the end of the season.
"Then we'll see how it works out after that, but obviously our plans are to run the speedway there next year as well.
"But the local fans here need not have any fears. I've put so much into this club over the years and King's Lynn will always be my number one baby."
Previous promoter Simon Barton will stay with the club, while former Fen Tigers and ex-Lynn skipper Richard Knight takes over as team manager from the ousted ex-Lynn boss Lawrence Rogers.
The Fen Tigers have also announced the signings of former Lynn rider Paul Lee and Henning Loof to return them to a seven-man unit.
A coach trip is being organised from Lynn to the Premier League Riders' Championship at Sheffield on Sunday, September 21.
Nanette Parsons says that, depending on the numbers wishing to go, the cost will be about 20.
If you would like to book, then contact Nanette on 07776 292190 or see her at the programme stall at Lynn Stars' next home meeting.
