The King’s Lynn Young Stars have been given a major boost after attracting a new local main team sponsor, Stebbings Car Superstore.
Stebbings Car Superstore, whose headquarters is at Hardwick Narrows, will become the headline sponsor for the National League title challengers in 2015.
The team will be now known as the King’s Lynn ‘Stebbings Car Superstore’ Young Stars and will wear the Stebbings logo on the front of their 2015 race jacket.
Dale Allitt has assembled a strong side to challenge for honours this year with returnees James Cockle, Tom Stokes, Scott Campos and Josh Bailey joining new recruits Shane Hazelden, Ryan Kinsley and Layne Cupitt.
Lynn Speedway boss Keith Chapman commented on the deal: “It is really great to have a local company behind the Young Stars and a real motivation for the riders knowing that such a well known and respected company has invested in them.
“The team will be wearing the Stebbings logo with pride this season and we hope it is the start of a long and successful partnership.”
Senior Sales Advisor Adam Bird said: “We are very happy to be the title sponsor of the Young Stars this season.
“We feel it is essential to help the development of riders progressing through the system at King’s Lynn.
“Seeing Lewis Kerr and Lewis Rose progress was great and we are delighted to be involved with the next group of young riders aiming to progress.”
