Tilney shock league leaders Terrington

WEST NORFOLK SCAFFOLDING LYNN AND DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION TWO

TILNEY shocked league leaders Terrington with a 4-0 win thanks to goals from Robert Eves, Danny Kew, Andy Everitt, S Tucker.

Lynn Napier beat Union Jack 4-2 with Robert Barr and Matthew Bunting scoring a brace each, while Nick Brenock and Tom Thompson were on target for Jack.

There was a nine-goal thriller at River Lane between Fairstead Utd and Splinters Res.

Fairstead went 4-0 up through Chris Green (2), Mark Sainty and Nathan Mitchell, before Bryan Schmadahit a double of his own for Splinters to make it 4-2.

Alan Burch gave Fairstead a three-goal cushion with their fifth before D Fish, and Schmuda's third set up a tense finish, in a game well handle by young referee A Burridge.

Fowler did their promotion chances no harm with a 3-1 win over Hilgay, where Dean Gotsell (2) and U. Silva scored for Fowler and Dean Woodward for Hilgay.

Downham Old Boys were made to battle for victory against a young William Burt side

Burt's goal was scored by old timer Colin Buffham and for Downham OB it was A Summers, J Rose, and T Nichols in a 3-1 win.

DIVISION ONE

GLOBE Bowls Club beat title contenders Bentinck Arms 3-0.

Tim Childs opened the scoring after 20 minutes before Robbie Palmer made it 2-0 just before half-time.

Bentick had a penalty saved by Hails before Globe Bowls Club added a third with a breakaway goal through Tom Anderson.

Kyle Plumb was outstanding at the back.

England's Hope took the three points against Terrington thanks to a goal by Sam Whybourn.

White Bell took on Splinters at Kingsway and took the lead with a goal by Coates.

Splinters came back with a goal by Lee Clarke and then a second by Alan Cook before goals from new signings Liam Bowley and Danny Jezeph to go 4-1 up.

White Bell did add a second but a brace from Tim Kavanagh made it 6-2 in a game well-handled by referee D. Smith.
