The West Lynn ladies entered the Thetford 5-a-side tournament and after a terrific day of football the A side narrowly missed out on lifting the trophy after losing 1-0 to Yaxley A.
The B side did well making the semi-final only to be beaten by the A side 6-0, with hat-tricks coming from Shelley Woods and Lisa Wilson.
The A side won all their group games finishing top of the group and did not concede a goal.
Wins against: Indies 2-0, scorer Shelley Woods (2); Taverham A 3-0, Leanne Sheen (2), Kerrie Stevens; Swanton United A 2-0, Shelley Woods (2); Wymondham A 1-0, Kerrie Stevens; Lakenheath 1-0, Shelley Woods; Yaxley A 1-0, Shelley Woods.
The B's battled through their group as runners-up.
Results: Swanton United B 0-0; Wymondham B 1-1, Kirsty Scott; Taverham B 3-2, Emma Woods (2), Sonya Smith; Yaxley C 0-0; Yaxley B 0-0.
The ladies can now get down to preparing for the start of the new Eastern Regions season.
