Thornham Bowls Club has held its first internal competition of the season, the Billy Moulton Cup (two-wood singles) which was won by Don Scoles, who beat Chris Tann in the final.
Sixteen members took part, playing three matches of seven ends.
Thornham play in the Countryside League and the previous night had won their first match, at home against Ingoldisthorpe 8-2.
In addition to league games, there is also a wide range of internal competitions. An open day will be held on Sunday, July 19.
New members of all standards, including beginners, are welcome.
