DEREHAM and Swaffham branch of the Royal Air Forces' Association will be holding its annual parade and memorial service in Dereham on Sunday (September 21).
The event commemorates the Battle of Britain in 1940 and marks the end of Wings Week, raising money for RAFA's welfare work with ex-servicemen and women and their families.

Headed by three local RAFA standards, the parade will leave the Cherry Tree car park at 10.55am and march through the Market Square and Church Street to St Nicholas' Church for a 11.15am service.

Dereham Mayor Mrs Lynda Turner and Wing Commander Simon Ellard, from RAF Marham, will take the salute at the War Memorial as the parade returns along the same route after the service, at about 12.15pm.
