THE Royal British Legion Women's Section in Swaffham has made special presentations to two loyal members who have offered more than 80 years of service.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to both Eva Harrison and Edith Lunn, who have recently stepped down from key positions with the organisation.

Mrs Harrison has given 26 years service and was president for 14 years from 1995.

Mrs Lunn joined the branch in 1953 and has enjoyed 56 years service, including 48 years as chairman. She has been a regular standard bearer and includes secretary and treasurer among her many roles over the years.

Branch secretary Frances Barker said: "They are very, very good members.

"Their efforts have been very well appreciated by the branch and we wanted to do something to recognise that."

Both will continue as members with the branch, with Mrs Lunn becoming vice chairman.
