GREEN-FINGERED householders in Swaffham are being invited to enter this year's Best Kept Garden competition.
Swaffham and District Horticultural Society, Swaffham Community Allotment and Leisure Gardeners' Association and Swaffham Town Council are working together to organise the competition.

It forms part of the horticultural society's annual show, being held at the Sacred Heart Convent School's sports hall on Saturday, July 26. Prize winners will be invited to attend the presentation of awards.

Entries can include front and/or rear gardens. Finalists will receive £5. The winner will get £50 a certificate and the Frances Darby Memorial Cup to hold for the year. The runner-up will get £20 plus a certificate and the third place £10 and a certificate. Entry forms are available from Swaffham Town Hall or Myhill's garden centre in London Street.
