SWAFFHAM Museum needs more voluntary stewards as it prepares to take on running the town's tourist information centre from the end of May.
Friends of Swaffham Museum chairman Ben Emmerson said: "We need more stewards for running both the shop and the new information centre, and we are looking for anyone with a few hours to spare a week.

"Training will be given and they will not be on duty on their own. Anyone interested can contact myself on 01760 720982 or our secretary Peter Harris on 01760 723152."

He estimated that ten to 12 extra stewards were needed.
