ARTIST Ian King will talk about his television work and paint a picture for auction at a cancer fundraising evening in Swaffham.
The event has been organised by former police inspector Robin Horn, of Swaffham, who is taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Peru hiking challenge in May.

Mr Horn has so far raised £6,500 for the challenge, a five-day walk along the Inca trail, finishing at the lost city of Machu Picchu.

He said: "That has not been achieved without a lot of help and support from many people. I would like to get to £7,500 and would still like to hear from anyone interested in sponsoring me."

The Ian King evening is taking place in the Pedlar Suite at the George Hotel at 7.30pm on Friday.

The artist will talk about his television series, King and Country, and paint a picture to be auctioned off at the end of the evening.

Mr Horn can be contacted regarding sponsorship or for more information on 01760 724876.
