SWAFFHAM'S STG Aerospace group has received significant orders for its safety products from two major airlines.
Thai Airways has placed an order for STG's SafTGlo emergency floorpath lighting system to be fitted in 55 of its aircraft.
This is the largest order yet for the photoluminescent system which helps to guide passengers through the darkness to safety in an emergency situation.
It follows on from a similar order from Kenya Airways earlier this month which will see the system fitted into its Boeing 777 fleet.
Another advancement from STG, its wireless emergency power system, has been ordered by Air Pacific this month.
This system offers big savings because it cuts down on turnaround and maintenance costs by using lifelong non-rechargeable battery modules.
