NOISE nuisance from dogs, turkeys and guinea fowl was reported at Wormegay Parish Council's annual meeting.
Mr Andrew McAdam was elected chairman and Mr Derek Harrod, vice chairman.
The swings in Bardolphs Way had not been removed.
Highways will be informed of potholes at the entrance to Cross Hill which had not been repaired. Drive Carefully signs that had been promised had not been erected. The flashing lights at the school are faulty, and the hedge at the crossing to Tottenhill needs to be cut back. The kerb at the playing field entrance was raised and a vehicle was prevented from entering the field.
The dyke towards Park Farm has a tree growing out of it. The dyke at the corner of Bardolphs Way is still blocked.
The council will ask to be put on the list for a visit from speed warning signs which circulate the county.
Lottery Awards For All applicants for parish play areas were under consideration. It was agreed to ask West Norfolk Council for a £4,000 grant, the balance of funding needed would be requested from Waste Recycing Environmental.
Listed building consent was granted for alterations to an opening at Bridge House, Setchey, and consent was given for demolition of a workshop and other works at The Grange, Setchey.
Parishioners' complaints about odour from A.G. Pearce's carrot factory had been sent to the environmental health department at the borough council and the matter was being investigated.
Nothing has been heard about planning application progress for the housing development at the site.
The next parish council meeting will be on Tuesday, July 8, at 7.30pm in the Mission Room.
