GOLFERS took to the greens at Hunstanton on Wednesday (19) raising funds to help West Norfolk participants in the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme.
More than 80 golfers took part in the annual Duke of Edinburgh's award in West Norfolk golf tournament, fund-raising golf also having been held at Lynn on March 13.

Almost £5,000 has been raised to help towards training and expedition costs for local young people taking part in the scheme.

This year has seen 76 people taking part in the Gold Award with 40 signing on in September 2007.
