Thornham Drill Hall will host a goodbye party this weekend before closing its doors for good ahead of the opening of the new village hall and sports pavilion on September 21.
Members of the cricket club have organised the event as a chance to say farewell to the old hall before moving over to the new hall which is on the playing field.
The party will be held tomorrow night, with a disco provided by Dick Ropa, as was traditional. There will be a buffet and the party will run from 8pm to 11.45pm.
Tickets cost £7.50 on the door.
