A brand new theatre company launched in Lynn yesterday – Le CarreFour will be holding open auditions next Thursday for any adults who would like to get involved.

The group will be performing original theatre, written and directed by Luke Goold of Riarmato Productions, with hopes of creating a screenplay and eventually a feature film.

Luke Goold has been working as an actor for over 20 years, but began to write and direct his own material ten years ago.

He combines various forms of theatre in order to produce pieces of work that are not only visually entertaining, but thought- provoking and moving.

Luke is looking to gather actors of all abilities and talents who will work on, not just theatre, but a wide range of projects including film, television, web broadcasts and even murder mysteries.

The piece he is looking to create is a poignant crime comedy that looks at the plight of the elderly in modern society and offers solutions to their situation.

Anyone over the age of 16, with any level of experience, can come along to the auditions and there is no need to prepare anything.

The auditions will be held at The Riarmato Studio at 125b Wootton Road, behind Surf 55, from 6.30pm. For more details, call The Riarmato Studio on 01553 277272.
