This Sunday will see Springwood High School’s Big Band performing in a special concert with King’s Lynn Festival Chorus at the Corn
Exchange.

The Chorus will be singing such popular favourites as In The Mood and Ain’t Misbehaving as well as the hugely popular modern Mass in Blue by 21st century composer Will Todd.

The Chorus will be joined by Chloe Morgan as soprano soloist in the very demanding solo part in the mass. Chloe is one of the recruits for Gareth Malone’s new choir and beat hundreds of entrants from across the UK to win a place in this new venture. Chloe has also sung in one of the Harry Potter films and the film Madagascar 3.

Other soloists are Justin Myers on
bass guitar and double bass. Justin
is in much demand, playing for hit musicals in the West End and he was once the head chorister at Peterborough Cathedral.

The drummer for the evening is Kevin Campbell, also used to playing in West End musicals. He has also been on tour with Tom Jones, Alison Moyet and Jethro Tull. KLFC’s assistant music director and piano virtuoso John Bryon completes the team.

Tickets are £12 each and £5 for under 18s. All are available from the box office on 01553 764864 or at www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk
