Jazz singer to pay tribute to songwriter in Hockwold

Hockwold Village Hall will welcome a celebration of the music of Leonard Cohen, one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century, later this month with A Thousand Kisses Deep.

Internationally acclaimed jazz singer, Christine Tobin is set to visit the hall on February 15, bringing with her well-loved Cohen works and new unexplored 
material.

The Irish-born singer-songwriter has been a long-time admirer and interpreter of Leonard Cohen’s music, acknowledged as one of the finest interpreters of his work both in the UK and internationally.

A Thousand Kisses Deep promises an evening of world class entertainment, when Christine will also share enlightening background information about the songs she performs and how Leonard Cohen has influenced her songwriting.

The event has been organised in partnership with Creative Arts East, with funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Norfolk County Council and the borough council.

The show starts at 7.30pm on February 15, tickets cost £7 for adults and £6 for under 15’s - call the box office on 01842 827268 to book.
