King’s Lynn Town Band have got a busy season of festive performances and carol concerts ahead of them, with plenty of opportunities to get into the Christmas spirit.

David Jackson, from the band, said: “Traditionally, in the fortnight before Christmas we would play Christmas concerts across West Norfolk, and many of them have now become annual events.

“We’ll be playing all the well-known Christmas carols, and lots of the top 10 festive hits that you will all recognise.”

The band will be performing tonight at the Rotary Club Concer at the Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech, from 7pm.

On Sunday, they will be singing carols at St Mary’s Church in Hillington from 6.30pm.

As part of the Christmas festival at St John’s Church, in Lynn, both the Town Band and the Junior Band will be performing from 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 11.

On Friday, December 13, they will play a W.I. Concert at the village hall in Terrington St Clement, from 7.30pm.

They will be carolling at Hardwick Tesco from 7pm on Tuesday, December 13, before playing Watlington Village Hall concert on Saturday, December 21, from 7.30pm.
