Lunchtime recitals kick off at King’s Lynn Minster

Lynn Minster has launched its 23rd season of lunchtime recitals, which are set to take place every Tuesday from now until September 30.

From 12.30-1pm each week a range of musicians will play including Trevor Hughes and James Risdon on the organ and recorder, Adrian Flower of Heacham Parish Church and sub-organist Francesca Massey travelling from Durham Cathedral.

On Tuesday, Lynn Minster will welcome David and Carol Shippey of Cromer Parish Church, followed by Boston’s David Shepherd on May 20 and violas Peter Mallinson and Matthias Wiesner on May 27.

Admission is free, with a retiring collection for the organ fund, and the church cafe will be open from 10.30am to 12.25pm.
