Two glittering opera performances at one of North Norfolk’s most prestigious venues will give fans a chance to enjoy wonderful evenings of musical entertainment.

Opera-lovers will be able to enjoy a performance by a national production company without having to leave the county, set against the elegant backdrop of the Marble Hall at Holkham Hall.

Audiences will be able to soak up the wonderful ambience for Diva Opera’s performances of Mozart’s Don Giovanni on July 4 and Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann on July 5.

This magnificent historic venue lends itself well to chamber opera productions with its edifying acoustics.

The black tie evenings will commence with a champagne reception, with audiences encouraged to bring their own picnics to enjoy during the one-hour intervals.

Weather permitting, the beautiful terraces on the west side of Holkham Hall, with outstanding views across the lake, will be the setting for dining in style.

Diva Opera has performed all over the world including Russia, Japan and Venice and in a notable star-studded performance of the party scene from Die Fledermaus at The Royal Albert Hall they were joined by José Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

Tickets for each performance cost £80 and can be obtained by telephoning the ticket office on 01328 713111.

For those who prefer their music out in the open-air, why not snap up tickets for two huge live performances in August – when Status Quo and Last Night of the Proms bring their own brand of enertainment to the
venue.

Rock the night away with the iconic rock band Status Quo on August 23, from 7.30pm, with support from Norfolk rock band Walkway. These legendary rockers promise a night to
remember.

For something a little more classical, look no further than the uniquely British Last Night of the Proms, when the orchestra will be joined
by one of Britain’s most versatile sopranos Clare Ormshaw and acclaimed tenor Lee Bradley.
