Snettisham Beach Sailing Club wants to Push the Boat Out on Saturday, May 10, as part of National Watersports Month.
The club will be opening its doors and inviting people of all ages and abilities to have a go at sailing.
Whether completely new to the sport or sail regularly, Snettisham will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in the Royal Yachting Association’s Push the Boat Out weekend.
The event, starting at noon, features have-a-go sessions and fun for all the family. There will be an all-day bar and barbecue.
Visitors taking part on the waves should bring soft shoes and a change of clothing.
Natalie Miller from the club said: “We are delighted to be taking part in the RYA Push the Boat Out, we are inviting the local community to come down to the club, have a go at sailing, see what the club has to offer and get involved. Who knows if you visit you might just get hooked!“
