A retired murder squad detective will reveal the true stores behind some of the world’s worst serial killers in his audiovisual show next month at Hunstanton’s Princess Theatre.

Trevor Marriott not only depicts the killers and their victims, but the errors and bad judgment calls made by the police, who he believes allowed some serial killers to go on to kill again before their final capture.

He said: “I describe and highlight the murders committed by 20 of the world’s worst serial killers, many of which may not be so familiar to the many people who take a great interest in the crimes of serial killers.

“I feature over 200 photographs of not only the victims and their killers, but photographs from the original crime scenes, many of which will never have been seen in public before, as well as video clips of interviews with some of these killers.”

After finishing a long and protracted cold case investigation into Jack The Ripper, the former detective continued his study into some of the cases of some of the worst serial killers from around the world.

His study led to him publishing the highly acclaimed and best-selling book, The Evil Within – The World’s Worst Serial Killers based on his findings.

Trevor said: “I not only portray the killers as the monsters they are, but I go to great lengths to show the errors and bad decisions made by law enforcement officers in allowing some of these killers to roam free to kill again before finally being captured.

“As well as showing the pain, suffering and anguish the victims must have endured before succumbing to death, and the pain and suffering of the families who had loved ones taken from them in such violent and tragic ways.”

He added: “This show is not for the squeamish or faint hearted as many of the photographs shown are of a very graphic nature, which some may find disturbing.

“This show is without a doubt one of the most enthralling and captivating shows ever to be seen in a theatre, and as likely as not, the audience may shed more than a tear or two before the evening ends.”

The World’s Worst Serial Killers show comes to Hunstanton’s Princess Theatre on Friday, June 13, from 7.45pm. Tickets cost £13 and are available from the box office on 01485 532252.
