Pott Row’s amateur dramatics group are ready for the spotlight as they prepare to stage their very unique Christmas pantomime next week at Grimston Village Hall.
The Fourville Players will be putting on Little Panto of Horrors from Wednesday to Saturday, December 3-6, with three evening performances beginning at 7.30pm, and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Based on Little Shop of Horrors, Flora Flowerpot’s shop is deeply in debt and she is being threatened with eviction by her landlord Willy Weedol. He is aided by his two idiotic bailiffs Bill and Ben.
Flora’s son Seymour tries to save the business by creating an exotic plant. Meanwhile, in outer space Marvin the Martian comes to earth and is followed by Garth Radar and Duke Skyrunner.
Chaos ensues with lots of audience participation and slapstick comedy that you would expect from a traditional pantomime.
The show has been produced and directed by Tom Powell, with music provided by Bob McNeil-Watson on his organ.
Tickets cost £5 for adults, and £4 for concessions, they are available from Emma Whitmore on 01485 609036.
