King’s Lynn Photography Group are holding a free open day and workshop for budding photographers to try out their skills and get some valuable advice.
Taking place at Gaywood Church Rooms, on Sunday, October 26, from 10am to 1pm, the event is open to anyone with an interest in photography, or who wants to learn how to use their camera properly.
Those who attend will be able to ask founder Tracey Robinson. and other members of the group, for help to learn about the settings on their camera.
They will also learn how to take great table-top photographs, with demonstrations by Tracey and the members, who will have a display of their own works.
Tracey said: “The Photography Open Day and Workshop will be bigger and better than the last open day – there will be lots more tables set out with different subjects for you to learn how to take photographs and to gain the best results. You never know you may go home with some great images!
“The subjects will be flowers, jewellery, abstract, portraiture and lots more! You will see demonstrations on how to take these type of photographs and will even get to have a go yourself throughout the day.”
Those attending must bring their own cameras and batteries, there will also be tea, coffee and cake available to purchase.
Tracey said: “This should be a fun day – with the darker evenings and colder days coming up this could be the inspiration needed for a hobby indoors or outdoors throughout the autumn and winter. See you all on Sunday!”
