Five bands have been booked in for a special dance being held in memory of Lynn teenager Jessika-Mae Prior.
This black tie and ball gown evening is at Lynn Town Hall on Saturday, March 21, raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Jessika-Mae, known as Jess, was just 18 when she died two years ago this month at her North Lynn home after losing her battle against a rare form of cancer.
Triston Finnis, of Twisted Melon Promotions, said this week: “Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the amazing Jessie’s Ghost, Addison’s Uncle, Fazed, Jay Harrison and Aria’s Echo.
“Complimentary canapes will be served throughout the evening and our well-stocked bar will cater for all tastes.”
Jess a popular former Springwood High School student, had fought against Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer which affects fewer than 30 children a year in the UK.
Her mum, Sharon Cleaver, said: “This is our second memorial event, with the first last year at Knights Hill raising about £2,500 for the charity.
“This time we hope to raise even more and we are already doing well with donations of prizes for the grand draw including a £300 necklace and a signed Norwich City FC pennant.
“The Teenage Cancer Trust supported Jess during her visits to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for treatment and she was very keen that we should continue to help the charity.”
