West Norfolk’s Astro Brain Tumour Fund is holding its eighth annual fundraising Norfolk Family Walk at Holkham Hall on Sunday.

Taking place between 10am and 4pm, there are a choice of walks at varying distancesfrom one and three miles, to six or 10 miles.

There is also a one mile walk for children with games along the way, and animals on leads are welcome.

Christine Forecast, of Astro Brain Tumour Fund, said: “In previous years we have invited other brain cancer charities to take part and raise sponsorship for themselves, after the £5 registration fee has been paid, and several have done so each year.

“This year we have opened the walk to any cancer charity to raise sponsorship for themselves, again after the £5 fee has been paid, and several have expressed interest.”

She added: “We know of a few people in the area who have brain tumours, some attending our support group at the Big C in Lynn each month. So why not join others and raise sponsorship for your chosen brain tumour or cancer charity?”
