Hull band Counting Coins are headliners at Lynn’s Bar Red “First Thursdays” gig next Thursday, June 2.
Since forming in 2009, Counting Coins have steadily built up a reputation round their raucously energetic live shows for stealing the spotlight and getting the crowds bouncing, whether it’s a headline or a support slot.
With a mix of ska/punk/gypsy/hip-hop, the boys have toured extensively in the UK and Europe, playing festivals such as Boomtown, Rebellion, Tramlines, Galtres and Freedom Festival along the way.
Supporting are Couch, back by popular demand, and the Norwich-based pop punk band are celebrating the release of their new single Big Shot Astronaught and have been competing in the 2016 Battle of the Bands.
Lynn’s own punk band, Toecutter, will make their debut performance in opening the show.
Doors open at 7pm and advance tickets at just £3.50 are available from www.wegottickets.com/MGLWpromotions; for more info on this and future events go to www.facebook.com/MGLWpromotions
