Dalegate Market at Burnham Deepdale is preparing for a summer of outdoor arts.
It all starts on Saturday, June 18, with the market’s first outdoor theatre performance when The Pantaloons theatre company bring their irreverent Gulliver’s Travels to the Orchard.
Three weeks later, Picturehouse Cinemas are screening a weekend of outdoor cinema, when Jaws, Ferris Bueller and Marilyn Monroe make appearances.
Finally, in early August, there’s a feast of Shakespeare, celebrating 400 years since the bard’s death with Strange Fascination theatre company performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Gulliver’s Travels, by The Pantaloons, is at 7pm and this is a brand new, adventurous and delightfully innovative adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s classic satirical story loved by adults and children alike.
Join Lemuel Gulliver on a fantastical and hilarious voyage into the unknown... Meet the tiny people of Lilliput and the giants of Brobdingnag; visit the floating island of Laputa and a country peopled (or horsed?) entirely by talking horses...
This is a brand-new, adventurous and delightfully innovative adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s classic satirical story loved by adults and children alike.
