Home Festival back with two stages

Mundford’s Home Festival is back bigger and better than ever for 2014 with plans for two music stages that are set to make a huge impact on the whole family next month.

Founder and organizer Helen Shepherd is excited about this year’s music festival, with local and national talent providing an amazing line up across two stages alongside workshops, arts and crafts, stalls, food, bars and more.

It’s far more than your usual charity fundraiser, and the Home Festival team are excited to bring this to Norfolk once again.

Home Festival will also have MAP, Wild4, Kate Anderson Photography, Paint Pots and lots more holding workshops for this year’s event.

Taking place from 11am-11pm on Saturday, August 9, the festival was inspired by founder Helen’s chance meeting with a homeless man back in 2012 which fuelled
her passion for helping charities.

Inspired to make a change, Helen organised Home Festival is in aid of St Martin’s Housing Trust, based in Norwich, who supply food, shelter and accommodation to homeless people across the whole of Norfolk.

Last year’s inaugural event saw Home Festival come alive in the village of Mundford, thanks to local support from supporters and businesses. Now in the second year, organisers are proud to be coming back bigger and better than before.

The line-up for this year is looking wild, with two headlining bands, Goldstar and The Thinking Men, set to perform alongside several other great acts.

Visit the website for the full line up.

Advance tickets are available to buy now from the website, www.homefestival.co.uk, and in various Mundford retailers.

Organisers are also looking for volunteers to help out on the day and there are some stall spaces available for this year’s event. Contact emma@homefestival.co,uk for more details.
