Have your say

Have you always wanted to write the story of your life but never known quite where to start? Then your problems are over.

On Monday, August 1 at the Heritage Centre in Hunstanton, writer and tutor Sue Burge will be running one of her popular Memoir Writing Days.

It will be from 10am to 4pm and the fee is £30.

You will need to book, as these courses are popular and there are only a few places available.

Sue said: “I like to keep the groups quite small on day schools if I can.

“It means that participants get more individual feedback and attention, although I always encourage people to send me some work for feedback after the day is over. Often people write best when it’s all had a chance to sink in!”

The day will revolve around a series of inspiring exercises which will help you to write about your memories and order your life story in an engaging and interesting way. You don’t need previous experience to attend this workshop, and it is open to all levels.

Sue added: “The venue is really inspiring, too, as the Heritage Centre is full of wonderful photographs, and these often spark off forgotten memories.”

To book a place, email Sue on skburge@outlook.com or phone 01553 692798.
