An exhibition of marine and river paintings “Water, Reeds and Wild Places” by Elizabeth Fitzgerald Carter opens at Brancaster Village Hall today and continues over the weekend.

Elizabeth can sometimes by spied out in her kayak on some of the more hidden waterways of our beautiful county sketching and taking photographs to work up into paintings in her Shouldham studio. This work, including the painting above, can be seen at the exhibition which will be open from 1-6pm today, 9am to 6pm tomorrow and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
