A recital by award-winning pianist Amit Yahav has been arranged by King’s Lynn Music Society for its next meeting on Wednesday. This will be held at Lynn Town Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
Yahav is much in demand as a recitalist, chamber musician and concerto soloist; his repertoire stretches from before Bach to contemporary music, although he specialises in the music of the 19th century.
Having received high praise for his interpretations of the music of Schumann and Chopin, Amit is currently conducting doctoral research on the latter with the generous support of the Royal College of Music’s Polonsky Award.
Before the concert there will be an extraordinary meeting for members at 6.30pm until 7.15pm; tea and coffee will be available.
Admission is free for under 18s, students in full time education and those with membership affiliated to FRMS, visitors are welcome, £10 at the door.
