Review: Norfolk Symphony Orchestra at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange

Despite a programme of music composed in times of war, and even though the music played concentrated our minds on serious matters and the fallen in war, I was impressed and enthused by the recent Norfolk Symphony Orchestra Concert entitled The Music of War.

David Young provided some soothing music for shoppers and helped to swell the coffers of the BBC TV Children in Need appeal on Friday. Playing his saxophone on the Hardwick Retail Park at Tesco and Dobbies he raised an impressive £517. He followed that up on Sunday at the Conservative Club cream tea. He said afterwards: “Thank you to everyone who donated and enjoyed my music.”
