The Magic of Motown is coming to Lynn this Saturday when fans will be able to celebrate 50 years of number one hit singles with the
all-new Baby Love tour.

In a one-night-only performance at Lynn’s Corn Exchange, chart-toppers including The Supremes, The Temptations, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye and Lionel Richie will all be featured on stage.

The Magic of Motown features 36 back-to-back massive Motown hits, more than ever before, and of course, that classic, Baby Love, that saw The Supremes rocketing to the top of the charts.

Show producer Michael Taylor said: “The legend of the greatest record label in the world lives on with five-star performances that authentically revive the style and sophistication of all your favourite Detroit legends.

“This year the show will include more number one hits than ever before. As well as dazzling dance moves and glittering costumes galore, the elusive, authentic sound of Motown is recreated by our incredible Magic of Motown band.”

The group are now celebrating their 10th year together.

Michael added: “In their capable hands, you can guarantee that the score will be – with a nod to the great Stevie Wonder – uptight, alright and out of sight!”

In 1964, Motown crossed the Atlantic to become a musical phenomenon on these shores. That year the UK top 10 was peppered with Motown songs including the Supremes’ Where Did Our Love Go and Baby Love, My Guy by Mary Wells and Dancing in the Street by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.

To mark the 50-year anniversary, The Magic of Motown has prepared an all-new production for 2014 which will be playing across the UK on its 100-date nationwide tour.

Andre Lejaune, male lead, said: “Come and celebrate 50 years of number one hits. With the Baby Love 2014 Tour, the magic of Motown is truly coming to town.”

The show starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 29. Tickets cost £22.50. Get yours from the box office on 01553 764864 or go to
