A new book by Norfolk author Jon Lawrence,The Jack Newton Radio, is published on Monday, March 27.
Jon, who was born in Pontypridd in 1975, is an artist whose creations have spanned many art forms and his latest novel, The Jack Newton Radio, looks at the way we deal with grief.
He writes: “I have received thousands of messages from followers of mine all over the country, informing me that poems I have published on my social media pages had helped them deal with their loss.
“One person who had kept hold of her husband’s belongings after his death, felt comforted enough to take his things to a charity store in order to move on.”
His previous books include Playing Beneath the Havelock House, Bisha and Albatross Bay.
Jon’s business CEAMS (Creative Education & Music Solutions) has seen him work with schools in Norfolk , around the UK and even in New Zealand. He also gives lectures and workshops on creative writing in schools and colleges.
Jon also plays live as one third of the Norfolk band Hush, who play an energetic mix of acoustic music.
