First it was Rapunzel, then came Tangled and now get ready for Dame Dolly Dumpling Tangled in Heacham.

That’s the title of the latest panto offering by the Pocahontas Players Drama Group of Heacham, which opens next Thursday, January 21.

Written by cast member 21-year-old Joshy Chilvers, with Peter Everingham as director and Tony Bishopp as music director, it’s a panto of good family fun with familiar songs, some topical and local twists ... and lots of ‘it’s behind you’s’.

Pictured above are Jeannie Tooley as the Wicked Witch who has locked Rapunzel (Naomi Rix) in the Tower and (Becca Whybrow) as Flynn Ryder who tries to save her.

With a cast of 30, superb sound and lighting, great backdrops and vibrant costumes, it all takes place at Heacham Public Hall, with tickets at just £8 for adults and £6 for children.

Curtain up next Thursday is at 7.30pm, it continues on Friday, January 22, at the same time, with the final two performances on Saturday, January 23, at 2pm and 7.30pm. For more details or to book tickets call on 01485 571402 or 01485 571267.
