Former pupils of the two most historic schools in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk are getting together for a reunion with a difference this summer.
It will involve members of the Old Lennensians (OLs) from the King Edward VII Grammar School uniting with the West Norfolk High School.
Already students now living in different parts of the world have said they plan to return for the reunion.
Interest has been gathering steadily in the grand reunion taking place at King Edward VII School on June 7.
This informal gathering is open to all former pupils or staff of the Grammar School or the West Norfolk High School and their partners.
Currently the High School has no formal association to coordinate events for former pupils and it is hoped that this event might help to encourage the creation of a group. The Old Lennensians are also looking to the future and, in addition to sharing events with the High School, are hoping to encourage more members from recent years.
It is believed that current pupils from KES will attend the reunion and that ex High School girls currently living in Canada and Australia plan to fly back to the UK.
The reunion will cost £15 per person with a buffet lunch, including two drinks.
