A Grand Spectacular of a show comes to Hunstanton tomorrow as rising star and magician Sean Alexander comes to the resort.
The appearance is one of a limited run of dates ahead of his first major British tour in the spring.
He is playing just three dates. At Great Yarmouth’s Britannia Theatre tonight, Hunstanton Princess Theatre tomorrow and at Clacton Princes Theatre on Sunday.
It is being billed as one of the greatest new illusion shows to appear on a British stage for many years.
Sean said: “It all began at a young age for me. I always felt a strong urge to entertain and would spend hours perfecting my routines and music. Then at the age of eight, I received a gift that would change my life forever; a magic set. Enthralled by the relatively simple tricks in the set, i became fascinated with the art of illusion. And there, the first seeds of a lifelong passion was sown.”
As his talent was honed and developed, Sean began to make a name for himself with his skills that would leave people baffled and bewildered in equal measure.
An appearance on Britain’s Got Talent prompted Piers Morgan to acclaim Sean as “one of the best we’ve ever seen”.
This encouraged Sean to develop already clever and slick routines into a lavish production featuring some of the most incredible illusions imaginable.
It’s been a busy few years for Sean with a specially commissioned performance to the Abu Dhabi Royal Family and numerous successful television and international cabaret appearances.
He said: “It has been an incredible experience touring the globe over these last few years but I have to say i’m really looking forward to coming home and performing my new show to a UK audience. It promises to be a great evening that will confuse, confound, entertain and amuse my fans.”
His Hunstanton Princess Theatre show is tomorrow (Saturday) with a 7.30pm start, call the box office on 01485 532252 or visit www.princesshunstanton.co.uk for more details.
