More than 240 people went to Downham Young Farmers annual dinner dance at Downham town hall – and raised £2,000 for charity.
Revellers donned black tie outfits and ball gowns to enjoy a four-course, sitdown meal before dancing to The Hound Dogs and Jak Ropa disco.

Club trophies were presented by chairman Ben Chapman and president Andrew Howlett.

The recipients were: Best new male member John Nurse, best new female member Emily Durrance, best male Paul Hartley, best female Sarah Buckle, sportsperson of the year Robert Lunn, President's Cup Ben Chapman and wooden spoon Kim Goodger.

Mr Chapman also gave a speech.

There was also a raffle and proceeds from the event, which took place on Saturday, April 12, will go to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance and other charities.
