Youngsters at Greyfriars Primary School in Lynn took to the stage in their own X Factor contest, mirroring the popular ITV programme.
Some 52 performers aged between four and 11 sang unaccompanied in the first round of the competition to find a new singing star, before the entrants were whittled down to 26.

Of these just seven acts, involving 11 children, were picked for the final. The finalists, backed by music, then sang in the London Road school hall in front of their parents, who joined the whole school and staff in the audience.

Eventual winner was nine-year-old Bethany Cockrell who sang Maybe from the musical Annie.

Judges for the final were headteacher Mr Paul Shanks, teacher Mr Peter Howard and classroom assistant Mrs Donna Porter.

Bethany was presented with an iPod provided by Lloyds TSB. All the finalists received Easter eggs, courtesy of Tesco.
