A treasure hunt, games and storytelling were among the attractions when South Lynn Opportunities Group (SLOG) held a fun day.
About 250 people attended the event, held at the South Lynn Centre/ Nar Ouse Regeneration Area office at South Gates roundabout on Saturday, September 27.
SLOG aims to promote community in the regeneration area and entrance to the day was free.
Two live bands – Poor Man's Pride, who made it to boot camp on ITV's talent contest the X Factor, and Lynn-based Innocence Lost took part.
There were also displays of street dancing, boxing, taekwon-do and Newfoundland dogs to entertain the crowds.
A competition among pupils at St Michael's Primary School, South Lynn, and Lynn primary schools Whitefriars and Greyfriars, to design a group logo, was won by Key Stage Two Greyfriars pupil Bethany Hollands.
Bethany (11) won high street vouchers to the value of £40 while the school gets £50. The competition was sponsored by South Lynn firm CTS Security.
