Youngsters at St Martha's Catholic Primary School in Gaywood got to grips with historical events when they held a Roman Day.
Ninety children from Years Two, Three and Four took part in the day which was organised by Year Three teacher Mr Tim Aviss as his pupils are studying the Romans and Celts at present.
Actors from historical organisation Portals of the Past led a workshop linked to Britain's Roman period.
Both educational and fun, it included quizzes and a re-enactment, said Year Three teaching assistant Sharon Backham.
Youngsters had come to school dressed up for the day, which was held at the Field Lane school on Tuesday, September 16.
"They had a great time," said Mrs Backham, thanking parents for their help with costumes.
