A-level joy at Downham Market Sixth Form College in 2010





In our weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature, we look back to 2010 and exam results…

Students and staff at Downham Sixth Form College celebrated another year of good A-level examination results with an overall 97 per cent pass rate and an 83 per cent general pass in AS level.

Although the school’s percentage of A-level passes at A to C was one per cent down at 70 per cent from the previous year, headteacher Sarah Quantrill was still satisfied.

She said: “This is a pleasing set of results and maintains our high expectations and standards with a larger cohort of students. The results are a credit to the students and staff at the school.”
