June 2013: Members of Lynn and District Sugarcraft Club marked the group’s 25th anniversary by showing off their baking skills at South Wootton Village Hall.

June 2011: Athletic employees at Bakkavor Meals in Sutton Bridge went the extra mile to raise £4,000 for two cancer charities.

Women from the company took part in the annual 5k Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK, while their male colleagues completed a 5k run in London’s Victoria Park for KYEOTB (Keep Your Eye on the Ball) which raised awareness of male cancers.

June 2002: Lynn’s skyline changed dramatically with the demolition of the gigantic Muck Works building at South Lynn.

Properly known as West Norfolk Fertilisers, work stopped at the site in 1967 and it was used for storage until 1982. This picture shows the collapsed steel framework at the site in Saddlebow Road which was earmarked for redevelopment in the Nar Ouse Regeneration Area project.
