All Our Yesterdays: Village faces and places
September 2009: This group of former pupils from Terrington St Clement Secondary Modern School met up for the first time in 45 years. The reunion for the group of 31, who had all left the school in 1964, was organised by Shirley Edwards of Lynn, Margaret Wright of Watlington, Rosemary Holmes of South Wootton and Christine Steele of Tilney All Saints. The party was held at South Wootton Village Hall and among those present was their former PE teacher Mrs Lennen.
September 2009: Chris Lowe (centre), a new recruit to Magdalen First Responders, raised £1,000 towards new equipment when he completed a sponsored parachute jump. He is pictured with his mum Vanessa Drew – also part of the team – and paramedic Pete Leggett, the group trainer.

September 2013: Excited villagers gathered outside Gayton’s village church for a special wedding with two royal princes on the guest list. Prince William and Prince Harry attended the marriage of Lady Laura Marsham, the daughter of the Earl of Romney, of Gayton Hall, and James Meade, the son of former three-day event champion Richard Meade. Prince William is pictured here with the bride’s parents the Earl and Lady Romney at St Nicholas’ Church.

September 2000: Holkham villagers marked the Millennium when the Earl and Countess of Leicester officially unveiled two commemorative benches, presented to the village by the parish council, assisted by a grant from Norfolk Rural Community Council. In this picture, three-year-old Amy Raven joins the Earl and Countess of Leicester, with (from left) Tim Leese, Ian Barrett, parish council chairman Maurice Bray, Douglas Codman, John Balls and parish clerk Sue Beard looking on.
September 2000: Children from the Sunday School enjoy a trip by horse and cart as the harvest festival procession makes its way to St Mary’s church, Snettisham, in glorious sunshine. The Bishop of Lynn, the Right Rev Tony Foottit, was the guest of honour and joined the procession in full regalia.
September 2010: A Wild West night was organised to raise funds for a new charity, Southery’s Wish, helping food causes in the area. Aaron Barrett, 16, tried his hand on the rodeo bull, one of the attractions at the event which was held on the village playing field, raising around £380.
September 2010: Eight-year-old Connor Forshaw (pictured with one of his posters) put fun back on the agenda at the end of the summer holidays for his friends of the Westfields Estate and surrounding roads in Tilney St Lawrence. He promoted a special fun afternoon, organised all the games and activities – and it was voted a tremendous success.
