West Norfolk CAMRA might represent something of a backwater, but our area has received a surprising number of national awards.

The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club, as it was then, was voted as the top club in the country around 20 years ago, while the much-missed Railway Arms on Downham Station received the award for the best cider pub in the country around ten years ago.

Now we have achieved a hat-trick with the Blue Bell at Stoke Ferry being named as the winner of the CAMRA Pub Saving Award to complement their Plunkett Foundation Rural Vision award.
